Building a custom home is a big adventure, and usually a there are many questions that arise in the process. The Hall Company would like to address some of the most common questions about building a custom home.

When should we initially meet with a custom home contractor?

As soon as possible. We can look at the site, connect you with the appropriate architect and guide you through the process.

What does it cost to build a custom home? Is there a price per square foot.?

There are many variables, such as site condition, architectural design and level of finish. After meeting with you initially to discuss these variables we can give you a general idea of cost per square foot.

What are your fees to build a custom home?

We usually charge on a cost plus basis with full disclosure of cost. We also offer a fixed price option once the project is clearly defined, including engineered plans and complete specifications.

What areas in Colorado do you build custom homes?

We build in the North Metro Denver Area, such as Broomfield, Westminster, and Arvada. We will build on your lot, wherever it is, within approximately 50 miles of Denver.

Do I need my own lot?

Many of our customers have a lot or land when they come to us fro a custom haome, but there are others that do not yet have land. We are happy to help you find land for your custom home in the area you are planning to live and to evaluate the suitability of the lot/land for your new home.

How long does it normally take to build a custom home?

Typically 10 to 12 months from breaking ground, depending on weather, size, complexity and location.

Do you, “the builder”, finance the construction project?

Since each of our projects are custom, each client will need to fund the project or obtain a construction loan. We have lenders that we can recommend, or we are happy to work with the lender of your choice.
